In order to get on the ballot for American Mensa's election this year, an RVC candidate needs 100 petition signatures by Feb 1; all other candidates need 250 signatures by that date. Few candidates at any level currently have the required signatures.
PLEASE SIGN CANDIDATE PETITIONS NOW https://www.us.mensa.org/lead/amc/elections/2017-board-election/candidate-information/ (You will need to log in; remember to click 'Forgot my password' in you haven't logged in since the software update in Nov.)
Current RVC 7 Greg Kontz recommends you sign all petitions you are eligible to sign -- including both RVC 7 petitions -- so we have a large, strong slate sharing their ideas for our organization! Signing does NOT commit you to voting for the candidate; it just helps that candidate get on the ballot.
The Jan/Feb Prairie Dawg will be delayed due to unforeseen events; probably at least a week. It is available now online under the Prairie Dawg link.
